Safer Recruitment Policy

All applicants will need to meet the following criteria:

  • All tutors must have the statuary training, qualifications and working experience necessary for their post

  • At least two references will be checked and verified. The referees will be contacted by email and/or phone by the management at It’s Your Mojo

  • Tutors will undergo checks for criminal records through Criminal Records Bureau/ Disclosure and Barring Service.

  • During the application process and at the interview applicants will be asked to disclose information about their health and wellbeing, which may affect their performance and their work with children,

  • Applicants will need to demonstrate their ability in interact with children on all levels, without expression of prejudices or discrimination and tutors would be taken on board after an initial period of work undertaken by them. In addition, tutors must agree to attend all mandatory training and regular supervision with the manager at It’s Your Mojo.
